As opinions on meaning and value of music diverge sharply, a compromise is reached; that instead of a unitary global typology, there is a plurality of discrete music types that constantly engage stakeholders in musical creativity, performances, research, education, technology, polemics, and even governance. Within the known categories of folk, popular, art, and World Music exist a striking multiplicity of music genres and sub-genres that define the extent and ‘borders’ of today’s musical plurality. Expressions and studies in musical diversity are pursued within the real and virtual spaces provided and regulated by sovereign states

Dear all, AGORA is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 3rd edition of the  ASIRA Online Course  for the period of  June 19th - July 14th, 2017 .   The main goal of the  ASIRA (Access to Scientific Information Resources in Agriculture) Online Course for Low-Income Countries  is to provide a platform to enhance the visibility, accessibility and usability of data and information in the agricultural domain, particularly in low-income countries. Since February 2017, over 150 participants from 33 different countries have been trained through ASIRA.
